Dr. Daniel Mirisho Pallangyo, Esq is a fulltime senior Lecturer of Law at Tumaini University Makumira and the Director of PostgraduateStudies of the University. He holds a doctorate in Law from North West University, South Africa (2013); Master of Laws in Environmental Law from University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa (2005) and LL.B (Hons) from Tumaini University, Iringa University College (2004).

Dr. Pallangyo received a certificate of outstanding academic performance (best student) in his LL.B degree. He is a member and deputy regional director (Africa) of Global Network for Human Rights and the Environment (GNHRE) and a member of the World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL). Dr. Pallangyo was appointed an extraordinary senior lecturer of Law by the Faculty of Law, North West University, South Africa where he offers visiting lectures on Regional Climate Change Law and Regional Environmental Law.

Dr. Pallangyo is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania (Roll No. 1485), Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. Dr. Pallangyo has published numerous (books, book chapters, and journal articles) in areas of African regional integration law environmental law and natural resources law.
