Tusekile Asajile Mwakalundwa - Esq

Tusekile Asajile Mwakalundwa, Esq is an Assistant Lecturer at Tumaini University Makumira. She received both her Bachelor’s Degree in law in 2008 and her Master’s Degree in Law in 2011 at Tumaini University Makumira (TUMA). She later went on to The Law School of Tanzania and successfully attained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Education (PGDLE) in the year 2015. She was later on admitted to the bar in December 2016. In the year 2015 she proudly accepted a full time position as an assistant lecturer back to TUMA. She currently assists in lecturing business subjects specifically; the Law of Business Associations, The Law of Contract and Sale of Goods Law. She also lecturers’ in non-degree courses in particular Records Management.

In 2016 she published an article in TUMA Law Review Journal titled “Crossing the bridge towards Gender Equality: Sexual Harassment in the Public Sphere in Tanzania.” In the same year she was selected to represent Tanzania with 41 others as a Mandela Washington Fellow; a flagship program started by the then president of the United States of America His Excellency Barrack Obama to foster and mentor young African leaders in Sub-Saharan Africa. She generally enjoys her work at TUMA and plans to use her skills and ability to impact knowledge and to be role model to her students. She is also planning to further her studies in the near future.
